
Nala Taxi hosted its annual Family Iftar 1446 today in Hulhumalé, bringing together drivers, their families, and senior management for an evening of unity and celebration.
The event was graced by Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed Ameen, accompanied by senior officials of the Ministry, the Drivers Association of Maldives President, and key figures from Nala Taxi. In his speech, Minister Ameen praised the strong bond and teamwork among Nala Taxi’s drivers, highlighting their dedication to service and unity within the transport sector.
A key highlight of the evening was the recognition of Driver of the Month and Driver of the Year. Mohamed Shiham was honored as Driver of the Year, while Hasrath Moosa took home the title of Driver of the Month for his outstanding performance.
Additionally, winners of the Nala Taxi Team Event Promo were awarded. The competition featured five teams of ten drivers each, aiming to complete the highest number of trips booked through the Nala Taxi app and center. Prizes were given to the top three teams in recognition of their dedication and efforts.
The event underscored Nala Taxi’s commitment to fostering a supportive and motivated community among its drivers while strengthening ties with their families.
